In just 3 minutes, this one-cup coffee maker can produce a 6 oz cup of coffee, with the beverage reaching an optimal temperature of 185°F - perfect for drinking with added cream or milk. To descale the coffee maker correctly, first, the two function keys will flash red alternately, indicating that the machine needs cleaning. Pour 14 oz of prepared descaling solution into the water reservoir, then press the two function keys simultaneously for 2 seconds to start the descaling process. Using the hot water descaling function will ensure more efficient cleaning.

For the best-tasting coffee, it is recommended to add no more than 10 ounces of water when using capsules, and no more than 14 ounces when using coffee powder. If the coffee is too weak, you can reduce the amount of water moderately.

The Bold setting allows for more flavor extraction from the beans, resulting in a stronger, richer coffee, while the Regular setting brews a cup with a normal taste. You can choose based on your personal preference.

The water tank is designed with a ladder-like shape, and each level inside is marked with a corresponding scale, making it easy to add the right amount of water. Using a cup with a spout can also help reduce the chance of water splashing when pouring into the tank.

The alternating red flashing of the two function keys is not a fault, but rather the regular descaling reminder function of the coffee maker. To address this, simply add the descaling agent and press the two function keys simultaneously for 2 seconds to start the cleaning process.
